Pictured above are renderings of our all new Concrete Piers. These new items are the perfect compliment to our Deck Girder Bridges. They will be injection molded in tough ABS plastic with built-in U-V protection. They are almost 1/8" thick with internal reinforcing ribs. Molded in realistic concrete color and texture, they will be the center of attention on any garden railroad. All edges have prototypical chamfers. There are no holes thru the caps to allow use with any bridges, not just ours.
The above view lets you see how simple it is to assemble. Under the cap (top) you can see 2 parts (Bolt Retainers) with 1 screw each in them. When you are using our Deck Girder Bridges you may wish to bolt them to our Piers. This is easy. Just drill thru the blind holes on the underside of the cap. They are located to line up with the mounting holes on our bridges. Then just place the included bolts in the 2 Bolt Retainers and secure them to the cap with the screws provided. The bolts will not only be held in place from underneath, but they will be kept from turning when tightening the hex nuts that hold the bridges in place. Although not absolutely necessary, we recommend gluing the corners for maximum durability.
