It was decided that with all the longer steam and diesels out or coming soon that a wider minimum radius was needed. Previous was 10' diameter. New was planned to be 12-1/2' diameter. It all is except for 1 piece of 11-1/2' diameter. All track is Aristo-Craft brand. You can see the original alignment by following the curve of the wall. The new 12-1/2' track is in space supported by the cinder block. I had to move both walls and all the dirt in between. Also in this shot in the upper left is the original alignment (where the streamliners are parked) thru Mill's Cut. Now we've added Mill's By-pass just to the left of the water tower. This allows for a bigger radius curve and requires less climb.
