24-Inch Deck Girder Bridge and Catwalk

Overall: As I stated above the detail of this bridge and it's look is so exciting that you are going to have to have one of these, right now until the weather gets better one of these is sitting on top of the TV in my office with an SD 45 on it.

These are great for showing off the detail of your locomotives. MSRP of the Bridge is $89.95 and the MSRP of the Catwalk is $34.95 or $124.90 for the works. I hope that this is not the only entry for Garden Metal Models Inc.

The design that went into this product is fantastic. The craftsmanship is just something to be seen. It may even look familiar to some of you and it should, after trying to get several USA manufacturers interested Steve took his product to the same folks that make Aristo Craft and USA trains and about six or seven others brands of train. The combination is a winner.

Pros: Can be used on curves down to 8-foot diameter. Beautiful detail, lots of ribs and rivets, if you did not know you would think that someone shrunk a 1:1 bridge. Nicely packaged and the only directions that are needed are on the back of the package for the tie strips and catwalk.

Cons: I have not found any yet; Steve did his homework on this product.

Price: The Bridge Model Number G01241, Sells for $89.95, the Catwalk Model Number G02001, sells for 34.95.

I have worked for the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command, for the last 15+ years.I am currently the Show Manager for the East Coast Large Scale Train Show.

I guess my love affair with trains started when I was three or four, steam was king then. I got a Lionel set when I was five, and have been hooked since. I Moved from 027 in the mid 1950's to HO and then to N in 1968. I got into Large Scale around 1993; my wife bought our first large scale set as a joke and is now hooked as much as I am. Sue and I have been married 30+ years.
